Is your Pool Motor REALLY LOUD?

However, it's usually more cost-efficient for the customer to have their motor fixed instead of replaced. But we can consult with you on what is the best option for you depending on your motor's problem.
Are you struggling with CLOUDY pool water?
If you have been struggling to clear up your cloudy pool water, it may be your sand filter. We have a customer who had cloudy pool water and tried all kinds of different chemicals to clean it up, but they couldn't get it clear. We finally convinced the owner of the pool to upgrade from their sand filter to a new cartridge pool filter. No more cloudy pool water. If you have been struggling with cloudy pool water, call us today for an evaluation of what we can do to fix your cloudy swimming pool water. If you have a sand filter, consider switching to a cartridge pool filter.
If you have a green pool, we can help. We have a special process in which we can clean up a green pool without having to drain it. Call us today for a free quote and to see if your green pool can be cleaned up with our no drain service. Some green pools may be so bad that we must drain the pool.
Acid Wash, Chlorine Wash, and Pool Tile Cleaning
If you have tough stains on your pool walls, you may consider an acid wash. This will remove tough stains. However, if you have a green pool, we recommend getting a chlorine wash to kill all the algae spores that can be embedded on your pool walls. And if you have mineral deposits along your pool tile near the water line, then you need a our pool tile cleaning service. The acid wash and the chlorine wash do NOT remove the mineral deposit lines on your pool tile. This needs a separate process for removal. Please call us today to discuss whether your pool needs an acid wash, a chlorine wash, or our pool tile cleaning service.
Warmer Weather = Green Pools
As the weather starts to heat up, if your pool has not been properly taken care of over the winter, you will soon start to see algae growing, which if left untreated can quickly turn your pool into a green pool. Sometimes you can get away with not properly maintaining the pool chemistry over the winter because of the cooler temperatures. But as soon as it gets warmer you will start having all kinds of problems with your pool. Many pools also need to be treated for organic matter in the swimming pool water. The pool chemicals you regularly use cannot get rid of organic matter. Too much organic matter will cause you to struggle with algae in your pool EVEN if your pool chemistry is perfect. The algae feeds off the organic matter, which is unaffected by your regular pool chemicals. We have a special process we use to treat organic matter which involves quarterly treatments. Please contact us if you are having problems even though you have been properly maintaining your pool chemistry. You also will have problems if your total dissolved solids are too high. Your pool needs to be drained about once every 5 years. Over time the water simply gets saturated with dissolved matter and the chemicals will no longer be able to do their job. If you haven't had your pool drained in the last 5 years, now is the time. Plaster pools cannot be drained once it gets too hot, or you risk cracking the plaster walls. Let us remind you that your pool filters need to be cleaned on a monthly basis. Many homeowners forget to clean their filters over the winter because they are simply not using their pools. Call us to schedule a pool filter cleaning and get it done now before it gets any hotter.
This is why you need to clean your pool filters!
Total Dissolved Solids in your swimming pool can lead to all kinds of problems with your water, even if you are putting the perfect amount and ratio of pool chemicals into your pool. Total Dissolved Solids is the amount of solid material from debris, sweat, dissolved chemicals, dirt, and other contaminants that have saturated your water to an unsafe level. If the TDS level is too high, your new pool chemicals you add on a weekly basis cannot dissolve and treat the water properly. This will lead to algae growth, cloudy water, irritated eyes and skin among other things. The only solution to a high TDS level is to drain the pool and refill it with fresh water and new chemicals. Every pool should be drained at least once every 4-5 years. If you have lived in your home for 5 years and have NEVER drained your swimming pool, now is the time. Avoid costly summer chemical expenses while trying to combat pool problems that won't go away without draining the pool. Early spring is the best time to drain your pool because once the temperatures get too hot, we cannot drain a plaster pool or we risk the heat damaging the pool walls. Get your pool drained now so that it will be ready to go when it heats up.
